Memory Care Defined:
This person is dependent on others for care and to oversee their personal safety (up to and including exit doors that are alarmed and/or locked). He or she will require assistance with two or more ADL’s (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring and walking, continence). Requires staff assistance and supplies to manage incontinence of bladder or bowel or both. Requires frequent redirection and/or intervention (hands-on or limited 1:1 assistance) by staff due to ongoing confusion, disorientation, anxiety, agitation, refuses care, refuses medications, sundowning syndrome, exit seeking and other disruptive/repetitive behaviors.
We take pride in the care that we give, and we understand how important it is that the residents feel comfortable, and not feel like they’re in a “facility”. Whatever level of care you choose, you can be sure your loved one will be comfortable and well cared for by our experienced and trained staff.
