At Highland, we believe in honest straight forward pricing for the high quality person centered care that we provide. Our prices are entirely related to room type (companion room or private room) and the level of care that is required to appropriately care for each individual. Care levels are determined by assessing each person at the time of their admission and as needed thereafter. Our costs are “all inclusive” except for beauty/barber shop services.
Highland is a Private Pay residential care facility. This generally means that a resident will be responsible to pay for the costs associated with his or her care. We are a state licensed “Home for the Aged” which is the highest form of Assisted Living facility, we are not a Nursing Home (also know as a Skilled Nursing Facility). Because we are not a nursing home, we are not recognized by Medicare and Medicaid for the care that we provide. If you have any questions about care level, or would like more information about costs, please feel free to contact us.
